Is phones 4 u closing?

Wandering through the town, I noticed that phones 4 U was closed. Is it for good. It seems a shame, Vodafone has just opened and the mobile phone shop next to chimes has closed and now it looks like phones for u may go. It is all very well getting new shops but is detrimental to the town if it causes a similar shop to go out of business. There are too many empty shops in the high street already. We need new shops to open, not replacement shops

  1. Hi
Your post has just reminded me that I recently passed a closed phone shop in my town (Eastbourne). I did glance up at the facia and almost sure it was Fones4 U. If I am right it is not Dorking that is the problem but looks like the whole business because their shop here is inside a busy shopping centre. Do you think the mobile phone business has reached saturation point or are people cutting back on changing models so frequently? I'll try and make a point of looking next time I pass that shop.

  2. Almost certainly no. It was open the other day. Maybe it was staff shortages or illness that left them closed temporarily.
